Dreams for anything and everything
Whenever I have a random thought or dream of something big or small, I can record it here.
Mangakahia games - where the 5 local marae play against each other in sports, debating and cultural events every two years with one marae being the host marae.
Rewi reunion - either from Akarana Rewi or even more specific. Be good to have something in Auckland first and then something back home once some of the facilities are upgraded.
A new and beautiful marae that has a papa kainga, gym, school, garden, attached to shops and behind have rongoa plants and an industry for agriculture and wild pork and farming of milk etc. Having a solid economic base to maintain and update our facilities.
When growing up, the most important thing for our whanau was family. Everything that we did was done as part of the family. Our pride and joy was based on having a loving and welcoming family. Out of these experiences, my job as a teacher inherently provides that warmth to the little johnnies of this world. Uplifting and encouraging students to be the best they can be is something that I am truly passionate about. Whether this can be done as a teacher, community leader or politician it does not matter. Ko te mea nui o tenei ao - He tangata.
Having a garden and rongoa clinic attached to the home marae with everything I need to make remedies at arm's length.
A job where you constantly got the good vibes going - working and running workshops at a seaside resort. Doing things on the beach. Camps and retreats. Tourists are always in a good mood. Working and living close to a shopping mall.
Working and living close to Westfield Manukau city where you can feed off positive energy. Working in the islands surrounded by coconut trees, white sand and blue waters
